IDE Integration
Harvest already ships with integration with Visual Studio. Based around the
SCC interface, it allows code and projects to be checked in and out from
the IDE without having to launch the Harvest Workbench.

to your Visual Studio IDE
| But supposing you want to do more from inside
your IDE? Like create packages for example? Or Approve them? Or promote them
into your test environment? How would you do that?
Trilogy allows you to do that. It ships with integrations for Visual
Studio (C++ and VB 6.0 and all language components of .NET 2002 and
|
2003). The integration allows you to launch custom
Trilogy Dialogs
and/or launch server-side UDPs directly from your Visual Studio IDE.
This allows you to create, approve and promote packages for example.
In fact any process you can run on your server as a UDP can now be invoked
directly from Visual Studio. This can save your developers both time and
effort and maximises your ROI.
