Trilogy Scripting Client
The Trilogy Scripting Client is an ActiveX™ control which can be
used to display Trilogy Dialogs
as well as launch jobs on a remote Trilogy Server. This control can be
used in any scripting language that supports the use of OLE automation,
for example Perl, JScript, VBScript etc.
The Trilogy Scripting Client is marked as "safe for scripting" which means
that you can embed it in Harvest Forms
without raising warnings. The form can then run and communicate with jobs
on remote servers. This allows you to tightly integrate your Harvest Custom
Forms with the rest of your IT infrastructure.
You can also use the Scripting Client from inside standard VB Scripts,
allowing you to invoke dialogs and server-side scripts from inside Harvest
Active Scripts. Leverage the
power of Harvest Active Scripting by use of enhanced user interfaces and
remote job execution!
